The first was as a scholarship student at Berklee College of Music in Boston studying bass and guitar performance. His professional experience includes everything from bar gigs co-starring the weekly hockey game to cross-country indie tours stuffed in a cramped van to backing up Grammy and Juno (Canadian Grammy) award-winning artists. The genres are equally diverse as the gigs; folk/singer-songwriter, rock, top 40, r&b, country and jazz just to name a few. Although the bass has been Eric’s primary musical instrument, his guitar playing has always held an important role. In fact, during a decade of teaching, most his students have been guitarists...let’s face it, only a select few listen to Jimi Hendrix and want to be Noel Redding! #bassguitar #leadguitar #fingerstyle #12andup #guitar | Eric T.
